"They will not confirm the date with you when you cancel your policy and will not even send a confirmation email. I went a week without insurance and didn't even know it because I had asked to cancel my policy at the end of the current month. Instead, they just canceled it immediately without even telling me (after it took over a week to process). I found out a week later when I received a letter in the mail. They also raised my rate by over 20% with no explanation. I was a client for many years, and that's not how you treat your customers. Very disappointing. Avoid at all costs."
